1. Purpose of the Terms and Conditions of Use (TCU)
These Terms and Conditions of Use (hereinafter referred to as "TCU") govern access to and use of the website https://talents.actinginstitute.ma (hereinafter referred to as "the Platform"), owned by the Acting Institute, headquartered in Casablanca.
The Platform aims to facilitate connections between talents (actors, comedians, performers, etc.) and professionals in the audiovisual and artistic sectors (casting directors, filmmakers, producers, agencies, etc.).
2. Nature of the Service Provided
The Platform is neither a casting agency, nor a production company, nor an artistic representative.
It does not guarantee:
- Obtaining roles or professional contracts,
- Participation in castings,
- Or any other artistic or professional engagement.
It provides an online visibility space allowing each registered user to showcase their artistic profile with the goal of being noticed by professionals outside the Platform.
3. Responsibility
The Acting Institute cannot be held responsible for:
- Exchanges, proposals, or agreements made between talents and professionals who have viewed their profiles,
- The consequences (financial, contractual, or legal) of a collaboration resulting from contact initiated via the Platform,
- The accuracy or reliability of advertisements, registered professionals, or their intentions.
Each party is fully responsible for their commitments.
4. User Obligations
Users (talents) agree to:
- Provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information when creating their profile,
- Comply with the Platform's usage rules,
- Not impersonate a third party or publish misleading or defamatory content.
The Acting Institute reserves the right to refuse or delete a profile at any time, without notice, in case of non-compliance with these TCU or for any behavior deemed inappropriate.
5. Payment and Access
Access to certain features or services requires a subscription, defined by payment according to the chosen package (Basic, Standard, Premium).
The amounts are indicated in Moroccan dirhams (MAD) and are non-refundable, except in cases of proven force majeure.
Payments are outsourced to a third-party online ticketing site. The Acting Institute does not store any banking data and declines all responsibility in case of malfunction at this level of service.
6. Data Deletion
In accordance with applicable laws, each user has the right to access, modify, and delete their personal data.
To exercise these rights, a written request can be sent to: mail@actinginstitute.ma.
The data is used exclusively to manage accounts, profile visibility, and services related to the Platform. No data will be sold to third parties.
7. Intellectual Property
The content of the site, texts, visuals, logos, and structures are the exclusive property of the Acting Institute. Any reproduction, modification, or unauthorized use is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
8. Modifications to the TCU
The Acting Institute reserves the right to modify these TCU at any time. Users will be informed of these changes via notification or publication on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These TCU are governed by Moroccan law. Any dispute relating to the interpretation or execution of these terms will be submitted to the competent courts of Casablanca.
